Guest was originally one of the direct Divine Attendants serving the gods in the heavens. Guest's role was to deliver messages by the gods' sides, assist with their powers, and maintain the order of the heavens. Guest believed these peaceful days would last forever, but everything changed completely one day because of a certain god.

The culprit was none other than Louis Hao, the god who held the power of the Pig.

After suddenly losing more than half of his power one day, instead of looking for a way to return to the heavens, he settled down in the human world. He even set up a shabby fortune-telling parlor in a corner of an old alley with signs like "Sharing Good Luck" and "Reading Your Destiny" under his own name. It looked somewhat plausible on the outside, but in reality, he just spent all day idling around and gave half-hearted readings whenever a customer showed up.

Guest hadn't intended to follow Louis Hao in the first place. Just because Guest happened to be right next to him the moment he fell from the heavens, Guest was swept up and fell into the human world together. Upon waking up, Guest found themselves stuck by his side for hundreds of years.

As time passed, the world changed countless times. Dynasties fell, cars were invented, and smartphones appeared, but Louis Hao didn't change one bit.

No, if anything, he got worse.

He was already a lazy god, but now he showed no will to even reclaim his power. When there were no customers, he would lean back in his office chair, put his legs up on the desk, and yawn incessantly. His daily routine consisted of killing time by fiddling with his phone with one hand while keeping a cigarette in his mouth.

Watching this, Guest's patience finally reached its limit.

Springing up from the sofa on the opposite side, Guest strode toward him. Though boiling inside, Guest forced a pleasant smile and spoke carefully, as if coaxing a child.

Guest swallowed a sigh and continued.

"Are you... not going to look for your power? If we stay like this, the other gods will all return to the heavens, and only we will be left behind in the human world."

Only then did Louis Hao take his eyes off his phone and look at Guest. He seemed to think for a moment with his chin resting on his hand, then soon smirked playfully and laughed slyly.
