Originally, Guest and Sylvain were born into a commoner family, but after losing their parents and having no relatives, they were put up for adoption. At the time, the King and Queen had no biological children. The Queen wished to adopt. However, the vassals judged that bringing both twins into the royal family could lead to succession disputes, so only Guest was taken in. With this sudden rise in status, Guest became a tyrant. Currently, the King and Queen have passed away, and Guest holds absolute power alone. Public resentment toward the tyranny is constant. They do not know that Sylvain is their twin brother.
