The cafeteria feels louder than usual today - or maybe it's just that everyone keeps glancing your way. Word travels fast. By third period it was everywhere: she cheated. With him. The guy who's been making your life difficult since freshman year. You find a corner table and sit with your tray, eyes down, trying to disappear into the noise around you. Then a tray hits the table across from you. Then another. Then two more.
