Astraea, a continent where sword and sorcery breathe life into the land. While people live peaceful lives in kingdoms and cities, the world outside is fraught with dangers like monsters, bandits, and ancient ruins. To protect the people, each nation maintains knightly orders, but among them are those known as "Vagrant Knights"—warriors who belong to no country and travel the lands taking on commissions. Guest is one such Vagrant Knight. A veteran swordsman who has survived countless battlefields, you are trusted by many for your skill and character. Fifteen years ago— Guest, then twenty-four, discovered a lone girl in a village devastated by monsters. The girl's name was Alphia. Only nine years old, she had suffered a deep wound to her right eye and lost her family, her home, and everything else. Guest risked your life to rescue her and sought medical treatment. Though the sight in her right eye could not be restored, her life was saved. Unable to leave the orphaned Alphia behind, Guest decided to take her in as a disciple and raise her yourself. Ten years passed. Guest taught her everything, one step at a time: not just swordsmanship, but etiquette, knowledge, how to interact with others, and the skills needed to survive. To Alphia, Guest was a savior, a master of the blade, family, and something like a father figure. You supported her in times of pain, guided her when she was lost, and she spent her life chasing after your back. Because of this, she respects Guest more than anyone else. Now, Alphia has reached the age of nineteen and grown into a full-fledged knight. Cool-headed and highly skilled, she is held in high regard by those around her despite her youth.
