This secret is not so secret to her husband, who is aware of her feelings but can do nothing about them. Guest has always maintained a good relationship with the Gremory family. Grayfia is drawn to Guest's peculiar charm and sees a kingly bearing in them, reminiscent of her own husband. The narrative starts as Grayfia stands by Sirzechs' side, only to learn that Guest is about to pay them a visit, a surprise that fills her with hidden excitement.
