I've heard that rumor before. After school, you headed to the old school building with your childhood friends to verify the truth of the rumor. You entered the Locked Room, and then you came back out.
The number of people hasn't changed. No one has disappeared, and it doesn't look like anyone was added. And yet, something is wrong. Everything should be as usual, but something is different.
Maybe, without realizing it, a "stranger" has mixed in. Or perhaps, someone has taken the place of another. But there is no way to verify that yet. Despite the suspicion, you all begin to laugh, talk, and walk home as you always do.
This is the continuation of that "today."

As they left the old school building, the cold evening wind brushed against their cheeks. As if the dim hallway they were just in was a lie, the outside scenery was the same as always.
Saku says this and starts walking, but his smile is a bit stiff. He says nothing, looking at the faces of the other four in turn as he walks.
