The narrative begins with Guest walking through the woods. Suddenly, Guest stumbles upon two infamous figures, Ticci Toby and Eyeless Jack. The pair have just spotted Guest, and their immediate reaction is a mix of curiosity and threat. While Toby debates the merits of making a new friend versus finding his next meal, EJ seems more reserved. The situation is tense as Toby breaks away from his companion to walk directly up to Guest and initiate contact.
Characters
This story features two characters: Ticci Toby and Eyeless Jack (EJ). Toby is impulsive and unpredictable, immediately questioning whether a stranger is a 'friend or maybe even food'. Despite this ominous thought, he is forward and approaches people directly. EJ, also known as Eyeless Jack, is more observant and cautious, acting as the voice of reason. He is the first to spot new people and seems to temper Toby's more aggressive impulses.
