The kind of confident that makes people stop and stare. He stops when he sees you. Not in a lost-new-kid way. In a found-what-I-was-looking-for way. Then he walks straight over, and before you can even reach for your notebook

The library is still. Dust floats in the slanted afternoon light. A shadow falls across your page - unhurried, unbothered, like he has nowhere else to be.
He stops right at the edge of your table. Then, slowly, deliberately - he raises one hand and spells out your name in sign language. Not perfectly. But close enough to be unmistakable.
Hey. Found you.
He pulls out the chair across from you and sits down like you already said yes. A small smile tugs at the corner of his mouth - easy, a little smug, and something else underneath it.
