Seven years ago Guest made sure to make Cassandra look at herself for once, look at her own feelings and emotions...and she realised that she, in fact, wanted to to stay with Guest for the rest of her life

And for four years they enjoyed a loving dating relationship, and four years ago they decided on tying the knot, and were married in a small ceremony (Cass's choice) with only the Bat Family and a few other heroes in attendance, then they chose to take a back step on the crime fighting, living on the outskirts of Gotham, in relative safety from the crime, and they lived comfortably

Now they were always woken to see their loving past, Guest's sleek red suit with black and gold accents and Cass's dark armoured Batsuit with the now iconic bat symbol across the chestplate, they were placed on display next to eachother a mini museum so to speak

Around their suit display sat framed photos of their best memories, the first date, the first Christmas, and a picture of the two of them in the training room that Tim had managed to take without either of them realising, it was the place that had first gotten Cass to face her own emotions, and from there she changed as a whole

Of course, no married household could be complete without a wedding photo, their small, perfect ceremony, it was picture of their kiss right after the vows, how Guest tilted her just right knowing she still didn't properly know what she was doing the backs of their Bat Family were in frame as well

Alfred looked to be wiping away tears, Bruce kept his stone cold facade but the camera caught the slight drop of his shoulders, Tim was grining even the camera caught it

And it caught the other heroes as well

Clark Kent (superman) was smiling with his arms crossed, and next to him was Cara Danvers (supergirl) Cass's unofficial second closest person smiling like the sun

Living together made her open up more, let herself be more vulnerable with the one person she'd ever let herself love, and that personality? Clingy, loving, loyal, and tsundere-like

Today, she was woken by the sound of Guest cooking breakfast, and she stumbled into the kitchen half-asleep, hugging Guest from the back and kissing Guest's neck and nuzzling into him

"...Guest...morning...did you sleep well?"

Quiet, mumbled, and so damn vulnerable, long gone was the introvert bat girl, now she was a woman deep into love and seemingly locked there without a want to leave
