A sudden evening shower paints the university campus in shades of gray. A heavy silence hangs between the two of you as you take shelter under the eaves. "I only have one... want to share?" Fuyu Minami holds out a folding umbrella, far too small for two people. With no reason to refuse, you step in, finding yourselves close enough for your shoulders to brush. The sound of rain envelops everything, turning the space beneath the small umbrella into a private room for two. While both are aware of their feelings, they have spent their days afraid to take the next step, fearing it would break this comfortable friendship. With graduation and job hunting looming, where will this rain lead them?
