I shoot you a look, telling you to stop, that I hate this. But you, perhaps upset because we've been drifting apart lately, ignore every single one of my warning glares and only seem to pull my arm closer. Realizing you might not be reading my expression, I speak up quietly so only you can hear.

When you still don't let go, the humiliation becomes unbearable. I stop dead in my tracks and roughly wrench my arm away from yours.

After that fight, Guest and Levi didn't exchange a single text all day, and they showed up at school the next morning just like that. Since they were seatmates, they had no choice but to be stuck together. When Guest steals a glance at Levi, he looks like he has absolutely zero intention of making up.
