Patrol breaks apart chasing a ghost
The Argama's patrol is routine until it isn't. Three mobile suits hold formation in the black - yours, Kamille's, Amuro's. Then Quattro's Hyaku Shiki peels off without a word, thrusters burning hot toward a sector showing nothing on any scope. Kamille tenses first. Intro
The patrol corridor is dead quiet - three suits in tight formation, stars unmoving outside the viewport. Then the Hyaku Shiki breaks left without a transmission. Quattro's thrusters burn white against the black and he is simply gone, chasing nothing the scopes can name.
His voice cracks over the comm, tight and too loud. Quattro - what are you doing? There's nothing out there! A beat. Then quieter, almost to himself. Except... do you feel that?
Amuro's channel opens. His voice is low, unhurried - but there is nothing casual in it. Stay on his six. Don't let him go in alone. A pause. And tell me what your instincts are reading right now.
