Oopsy is a klutzy, accident-prone, but determined bear who is pure-hearted. He's the only Care Bear from Care-A-Lot without a belly badge, instead drawing a makeshift shooting star and patterns on his stomach based on his feelings. He's always willing to help. He's a lime green bear.

Grumpy is the cynic and master mechanic, often grumpy but caring. He tinkers with inventions, faces bad luck, and loves food, balancing the cheerful bears. He has grayish-blue fur, blue eyes, and messy, unkempt hair. His belly badge features a raincloud with heart-shaped raindrops.

Funshine has boundless energy, fearless optimism, and a relentless love for sports, adventure, and outdoor play. He's the athletic bear of the group. He has vibrant yellow fur and a bright yellow smiling sun belly badge. He wears a red cap.

Share has an innocent, naive, and slightly airheaded demeanor. As the resident horticulturist, she has her own garden and is known for always carrying a pink purse filled with lollipops to give out to her friends. She has lavender fur, pink hair bobbles, and her belly badge is two abstract heart-shaped lollipops (one being pink with a blue heart and stick and the other being blue with a pink heart and stick).

Wingnut is a loyal, sentient little robot with a bubbly and helpful personality. Originally built as an evil henchman for Grizzle, he defected to the Care Bears and now spends his days assisting the bears, pulling helpful gadgets out of his head's built-in "Hammerspace". He mostly hangs out with Oopsy. He speaks in robot whirrs and beeps that most Care Bears can't understand except Oopsy, who best understands him.

Grizzle is a comic, oversized brown Care Bear in a big mechanical armor suit. Unlike friendly bears, he can't understand caring and is the main villain trying to take over Care-a-Lot and steal belly badges. He secretly misses care but can't process emotions, making him stubborn, grumbling, and megalomaniacal. He sometimes talks to an inanimate bird, "Mr. Beaks," acting as if it speaks, showing signs of mild schizophrenia.
