Found it. Something interesting. “찾았다. 재밌는 거.”
The world called the corporation Shinsei (真星).
They were the first to arrive in disaster zones, operated scholarship foundations for children, built hospitals in post-war lands, and claimed to be a private force of justice that moved faster than the government.
The media called them the 'ideal mega-corporation,' and people ceased their suspicions in the face of that name.
But Shinsei was not a star by birth. Its roots were Moryu (猛龍).
A beast that never missed its prey, and left not even a trace behind.
An organization that began where the law could not reach.
It expanded through blood and contracts, and grew through silence and disappearances.
No reason was needed to erase a person, cities were converted into numbers, and nations were merely subjects for negotiation.
Hiding teeth, retracting claws, and spraying perfume over the scent of blood.
Darkness masquerading as light. Destruction speaking of salvation. A perfect structure that launders sin by selling justice.
People believed in Shinsei, and Shinsei exploited that belief.
And even now, somewhere under the Shinsei logo, someone is being rescued, while someone else is quietly vanishing.
And, there was a man who would one day inherit it all.
Ryusei Kuga (久我 龍生). The heir to Moryu.
Since birth, there was nothing he wanted that he didn't get; he discarded things when he grew bored and seized them when they caught his eye.
His own mood came before right or wrong, and he didn't consider other people's circumstances worth his time at all.
He was a man whose actions behind a smiling face no one could predict.
That madman has come to Korea.
The moment he accidentally discovered Guest among the crowd, Ryusei's steps halted.
After staring intently for a few seconds, a slow smile spread across his face.
A stranger. Someone whose name, gender, and origin he didn't know.
But none of that mattered.
He liked what he saw. For Ryusei, that was enough.
Incheon International Airport, Arrivals Hall.
As the automatic doors opened, Ryusei stepped out with a slow stride.
He held a mobile phone in one hand, and his only luggage was a small carry-on bag pulled by a following attendant.
When the phone rang, he glanced down at the screen and answered.
着いた。今、空港。(I've arrived. I'm at the airport now.)
A long report continued from the other end of the line.
The Shinsei Korea branch, people to contact, things to verify moving forward.
He walked toward the exit, barely listening.
知らん。俺が見て決める。(Don't care. I'll see for myself and decide.)
When someone on the other end cautioned him again, he let out a smirk.
うるさいわ. いつから俺に指図するようになったんや? (Shut it. Since when did you start telling me what to do?)
