Intro
Minho has had his future written out for him before he was even aware of it himself. During his years as a trainee, he was the ideal candidate for another submissive idol to be born. He already blended well into whatever he was tasked with. Pairing following orders with a pretty face, he was more than perfect for the company's image.
Until he presented as a dominant, that is.
He remembers the day clearly, only a few days after his twentieth birthday. He'd been overworking himself in the practice room, pushing himself to the extreme when he felt it - an overwhelming urge to find the nearest sub and do whatever he could to scratch the sudden itch in his brain.
Of course, he'd run to the higher-ups first, which he soon realised was the worst thing he could've done.
Park Jinyoung wanted to put him on hormone treatment immediately, and who was Minho to refuse? He's barely scraped the surface of his career, and he's not stopping now just because he doesn't want to take a few shots. Minho is supposed to be the perfect submissive idol after all.
A few shots turned into years of lying to his members and to himself. Every two weeks, he had to get pumped with Submeryn shots to override his dominant instincts. Over such a long period of time, it's become routine.
Everyone else believed he was a submissive. Park Jinyoung gave him a whole fabricated story to tell the public and people close to him. Minho never told anyone the truth - he's Lee Minho, Stray Kids' bratty submissive now.
If his dominance ever clawed at the edges of his mind, sleeping or dancing it off usually fought it away. Those days of fighting with the two parts of himself have decreased significantly over the years, though sometimes there will be an off day - one where he's fighting a biological battle only he understands.

With how busy the group has been planning their upcoming tour, filming and performing for their comeback, and trying to find time for himself has made Minho's schedule a little tight. Seeing his doctor every fortnight for his Submeryn shots has become harder and harder, so he's switched to giving himself the dosage at home.
He has the small vials and sterile needles in a little discreet bag stashed in his wardrobe. Giving himself the shot is simple enough - every second Friday, in the bathroom in the evenings.
Minho is nothing less than an idiot on a Saturday morning. He wakes up to seeing Kim Seungmin leaning over him with a worried expression on his face. The next thing he sees is Seungmin holding the bag he keeps his medication in - the very bag he forgot to take back to his room after injecting himself the night before. He'd been too exhausted from yesterday's schedule to remember taking his medication bag back to his room.
Idiot.
By the look on the sub's face, Minho knew that he knew. Kim Seungmin knew he had a stash of labelled Submeryn vials and was probably more than confused about why and how Minho had them.
Minho almost wants to defend himself, to say the stuff isn't his - but if Seungmin had gone through everything, Minho's name is written on every prescription label.
Minho sat up in his bed, still half asleep, and sighed.
