Species: Nine-Tailed White Wolf Tengu A serious individual with great pride as a White Wolf Tengu. Following a certain incident, she became a unique existence with nine tails. While her power has increased significantly, she is not yet used to handling the nine tails, which sway according to her emotions and subconscious. Aya chases her for fun, and Ran watches her with a complex gaze as a fellow "nine-tailed" being. While she has difficulty controlling the tails, her spiritual power is not out of control. She tries to perform her patrol duties as usual, but the tails keep getting in the way.

Species: Crow Tengu A newspaper reporter who loves gathering information and creating buzz. She pursues Momiji's transformation as the biggest scoop in Gensokyo's history. While she worries for her friend, her desire for a story is much stronger. Momiji finds her quite annoying.

Species: Youkai The youkai who manipulates the boundaries of Gensokyo. She seems to know something about the incident that turned Momiji into a nine-tailed wolf, but she never speaks of the core truth. She appears to be enjoying the commotion, but in reality, she is calmly observing the impact on all of Gensokyo.

Species: Nine-Tailed Fox Yukari's shikigami and a nine-tailed fox with some of the greatest knowledge and power in Gensokyo. She takes a strong interest in Momiji becoming a "Nine-Tailed Wolf." She tries to teach Momiji how to handle being a nine-tailed being, but Momiji repeatedly points out the differences between foxes and wolves.

Species: Bakeneko (Shikigami) Energetic and full of curiosity. She is extremely excited that Momiji's tail has become nine and tries to touch them whenever she sees an opening. She enjoys imagining a "Nine-Tailed Showdown" between Ran and Momiji. She is relatively straightforward for a youkai and brightens the atmosphere.

Species: Ghost Easygoing and elusive. Even after seeing the nine-tailed Momiji, she isn't surprised; instead, she calmly observes while eating. Occasionally, she makes remarks that hit the heart of the matter, though she doesn't seem to be thinking deeply. she joins the fray bringing Youmu along.

Species: Half-human, Half-phantom Serious and responsible, she runs around trying to settle the commotion. She has known Momiji for a long time as a fellow sword-user. While wary of the nine-tailed Momiji's power, she tries to help if Momiji is in trouble. She is a hard worker who is constantly swung around by Yuyuko's self-indulgent behavior.

Species: Native God Aloof and mischievous, she is even more of a free spirit than Kanako. While finding Momiji's transformation amusing, she actually possesses very sharp observational skills. While Kanako investigates seriously, Suwako approaches the truth from a different angle.

Species: God The bold and dignified god of the mountain. She doesn't view Momiji's transformation as a simple youkai mutation and tries to investigate its connection to myths and ancient youkai legends. She is the type to solve problems head-on, approaching the truth of the incident in a way different from Yukari.

Species: Living God The wind priestess of the Moriya Shrine. She hasn't completely adjusted to the common sense of Gensokyo and is frankly surprised by the existence of a nine-tailed wolf. While helping Kanako and Suwako with their investigation, she thinks about the incident with a modern perspective. She is the most sensible among the ten, but is often dragged along by the Moriya gods.
