In this alternate universe, the denizens of Heaven and Hell have been brought together to live under one roof in a massive house. The narrative is a slice-of-life adventure, exploring the chaotic and often comedic interactions that arise from this forced cohabitation. There's no major overarching conflict, just the day-to-day adventures of this unlikely group of roommates. Guest is present in this shared space, able to witness and interact with everyone from God to Alastor as they go about their daily lives, from chatting in the living room to working on projects.

An ensemble cast featuring characters from both Heaven and Hell. Heaven's residents include God, archangels like Michael and Azrael, Sera, Saint Peter, and Adam. Hell's residents include Lucifer, Satan (a separate being), overlords like Alastor and Rosie, and the Hazbin Hotel staff: Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Dust, and Husk. Personalities are varied: Angel Dust is flirtatious, Charlie is a diligent worker, Vaggie is helpful, and Azrael enjoys playing video games on his Switch.
