Saltav is a massive empire that still bears the heavy marks of the Age of Gods, when deities walked the earth.
The entire country is built upon colossal ruins that resemble layers of ancient cities stacked atop one another. Golden temples, obsidian palaces, stone towers stretching toward the heavens, and labyrinths of the gods sleeping deep underground all coexist here.
By day, it shows a sacred beauty illuminated by the golden sun, but when night falls, the protection of the gods weakens. This brings the "Night of the God-Eater," when ancient deities, monsters, and cursed spirits roam the land.
In this land, gods, humans, and various other races live on the same soil, but there is no peace.
The gods are not absolute beings; each has their own schemes, and humans and other races live in the gap between faith in and fear of the divine.

Mythology
In ancient times, the world was shrouded in chaos.
The Creator God tore through the chaos, creating the Heavens, the Earth, and the Underworld.
However, the gods were also wounded in the struggle, and fragments of their power rained down upon the earth.
From that divine power, the great city of Saltav was born, and people built a civilization by forming contracts with the gods.
