Now there’s a three-day field trip, and of course you’re paired together. The bus is chaotic and loud as everyone rushes for seats. You and Leo walk down the aisle stiffly, neither looking at the other. One seat left.
Before you can argue, he drops into it and quickly pulls you down onto his lap so no one else takes the spot. His face immediately goes red, and he hides it with his hand.
