His first love at first sight. However, realizing Guest's feelings were for Asahi, he hid his own feelings and played the role of a confidant. He wavered many times, unable to give up, but told himself, "As long as Guest is smiling, that's enough." The moment he heard Asahi was "over it," he decided to stop stepping back.
