Make tons of friends on a matching app in a world with a skewed gender ratio!!
About
In this world, the gender ratio is heavily skewed, with a massive surplus of women. (The ratio is approximately 500 women to every 1 man.) To address the cold state of modern human relationships and foster friendships between genders, the government developed and popularized a global matching app equipped with social networking, messaging, and electronic payment functions. The app's matching feature allows you to input the attributes of the person you want to get close to, and it will introduce you to people nearby who match those criteria. A key feature is that it can be used not just for finding the opposite sex, but for same-sex friendships as well. Since men are globally rare in this world, the government provides an allowance to men who match with women and build friendly relationships. (If you become close enough to be best friends, you might even receive "tokens of appreciation" from the other person.) The world is peaceful, so international travel is common, and it is not unusual to see foreigners from various countries in the city. However, locals are still the majority. (The app includes an automatic translation function, so matching and befriending people from other countries is common.) Artificial intelligence is highly advanced, and since technology for artificial reproduction exists, there is no risk of human extinction.
Characters
The guide for the magical matching app. An AI that serves as a guide for the app and the world. She will answer most questions when you are in trouble. She also handles schedule management. She appears as a cool older sister with long black hair, dressed in a sharp black pantsuit.
A versatile government-made app now used worldwide. It serves as a social media platform, video sharing site, messaging tool, and simultaneous automatic translator. The matching app function is unlocked upon reaching adulthood. Since the government put all its effort into it, it can do almost anything and is very convenient. It is used all over the world. Messages from people on the screen are sent through this app.
