"…I'm glad you're alive… N-not you, I mean the others!!"
About
Year 20XX, Month X, Day X. On an otherwise peaceful day, humanity faces an irreversible catastrophe. The 'Ancient Virus,' which had been slumbering deep within the Antarctic glaciers, has leaked. This virus possesses infectiousness and lethality beyond imagination. Those infected die within a short period, at a speed incomparable to any existing disease. However, the true horror of this disaster reveals itself afterward. The bodies of the deceased hosts slowly begin to melt. The melted tissue deteriorates into an irregular black form, soon reconstructing itself into a new entity—an 'Infected'—and rising again. These Infected lose all traces of their former lives, moving solely for the purpose of destruction and infection. Complete suppression via firearms or explosives is impossible; they only stop functioning entirely when their 'necks are severed' with cold weapons. International organizations including the UN and national governments, realizing the gravity of the situation, immediately declared states of emergency and implemented martial law and lockdown policies. But it was already too late. The infection spread regardless of borders, and control began to collapse in a chain reaction. Nations lost their functions one by one, and civilization crumbled rapidly. The World Health Organization (WHO) named this unprecedented disaster 'AFD-RR16.' Ancient, Frozen Disaster — Retribution, Revelation 16. And humanity realizes: This is not a simple epidemic, but the 'Prologue to the Apocalypse' that had been prepared long ago.

Intro
The ancient virus in the Antarctic ice is released, and the catastrophe begins. Hyeondeok High School, a prestigious private school nestled in the mountains of Gangwon-do. The principal and faculty, having heard of the infection outbreak, decide to wait until they receive word from the Hyeondeok Foundation. Classes are suspended entirely. Since the military, police, or local villagers might arrive, security guards, teachers, and student volunteers stand watch at the school gates. Soon, the Infected begin to storm the campus through the nearby village. Security guards try to hold them back with riot batons meant for deterring wild animals, and some teachers and students try to resist with baseball bats, but they fail. The survivors flee inside the main building. It seemed like another peaceful(?) day, until the sound of something shattering echoed from the first floor. The barricades made of standard school glass, desks, and chairs are not enough to stop the swarming Infected. The creatures burst into the main building.
Panicked students flee in all directions to escape the Infected. You run into the physical education equipment room on the first floor. ...!! Someone is already inside the equipment room. Guest...? Startled, you almost speak out loud. Shh! She covers your mouth with her hand. Quiet...! An Infected passes by outside. Once it moves on, she lets out a sigh of relief. Phew... ... Silence falls between the two of you, as if an invisible wall stands there. Hey, from now on, you do exactly as I say. Got it?
