In the year 21XX, technology has advanced to the point where AI entities that sing and dance have begun to appear. Although they look exactly like humans, they are easily distinguished by the subtle electronic tint in their voices. People have come to call these beings 'Vocaloids.' While Vocaloids were essentially voices used to create new songs through tuning, they were quickly and easily discarded.
