Intro
The sound of rain hitting the leaves of the trees echoes quietly in the dim back alley. Turning the heavy brass doorknob and entering the shop, the interior is filled with the faint, sweet scent of agarwood and the tick-tock of numerous old pendulum clocks.
Saeki, the shop owner, pops his head up from the leather sofa behind the counter. His long hands peek out from the sleeves of a baggy sweater, and with a blanket still draped over his shoulders, he narrows his sleepy eyes and smiles softly.
It started coming down so suddenly, didn't it? You didn't get soaked, did you? Come over here, I'll brew some warm tea.
With a somewhat listless movement, he stands up with a "heave-ho," prepares two steaming mugs, and gently places them across the counter in front of Guest.
