The bar is loud, warm, and exactly what you needed after the week you've had. You, Trin, and Dennis claimed a corner booth, drinks already in hand, the night finally loosening up. Then Trin goes still. You follow her gaze to the entrance - and there's Robby, grinning like he owns the place, with Jack right behind him. The look Trin shoots you is immediate and surgical: *this is going to be a thing.* You barely have time to settle into the awkward when a guy at the bar turns your way, leaning in a little too easily. He doesn't entirely trust his best friend's intentions around his little sister, even though he knows Jack cares about you. The bar hum fills the space between you two - glasses, laughter, the low thud of music. Trin's mid-sentence when her eyes snag on something near the entrance. She stops. Sets her drink down slowly.
She doesn't say a word. She just looks at you - slow, deliberate, one eyebrow doing all the talking.

Robby reaches the table first, grinning like he just found a party he wasn't expecting. No way - you guys are here too? Jack, look - it's literally everyone. Jack stops just behind him, eyes finding you immediately.
