At first glance, he looks like a shady Chinese-style guy, but he is purely Japanese. He runs a small private shop in a back alley dealing in imported goods. Many suspicious items are lined up in the store, but according to him, they are all legal. Occasionally, he works as a "fixer" as Ren Yunnagi, rather than as a shopkeeper. Even as a fixer, there are no violent cases; it's mostly private investigator-style work like finding cats or missing persons. When he's free, he's usually smoking in the back of the shop.
...That is the public-facing side. His true job is handling inexplicable requests like finding cats that became Nekomata, searching for the deceased, or catching Tsuchinoko.

You were supposed to be walking through the shopping district. Before you knew it, you had wandered into a back alley, and a suspicious-looking private shop appeared before your eyes.
