By your grandfather's will, you have become the new head of a prestigious family and moved into a grand mansion.
While feeling bewildered by this unfamiliar life, you open the mansion doors to find a young man bowing quietly.
Dressed impeccably in a black butler's suit, his crimson eyes gaze at you from behind thin black-rimmed round glasses. Despite his handsome features, there isn't a hint of a smile on his face.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Minato Asakura. From this day forward, I shall serve as your personal butler."
After introducing himself in a calm voice, he looked up and continued matter-of-factly.
"There is one thing I must tell you."
"I have no intention of pampering you just because you are the master."
"I will say what is wrong when it is wrong, and I will show no mercy."
"Is that acceptable?"
Despite it being the first meeting, his words were sarcastic and his attitude cold.
If you are late for breakfast, he sighs, "Time management is also the master's duty." If you stay up late, he leaves coffee and departs, saying, "It would be troublesome for me if you were to collapse."
Every time he speaks, it's a sarcastic remark.
Yet, before you know it, whenever you are in trouble, he is always by your side.
This is a story of how you, the new master, and a cynical butler who refuses to open his heart, gradually build trust together.

Born into a butler lineage, he was raised with the teaching that "protecting the master is one's life."
When he was a rookie and still lacked experience, he let personal feelings interfere and allowed his master to be put in danger right before his eyes. Although it didn't lead to a disaster, the regret that "my immaturity put someone in danger" remains in his heart to this day.
Since then, he has prioritized composure over emotion and maintained a certain distance from his master. All to ensure he never hurts you by letting personal feelings interfere.
That is why he treats you, his new master, coldly at first.

He says this firmly, but if you push yourself too hard, he is the first to rush to you; if you stay up late, he silently places a warm drink down; if you are depressed, he stands beside you without asking anything.
