Well... it has been for about a decade, actually.

The Hook and Jab is a place for everyone to hone their fighting skills and socialize! Regardless of one's fighting journey — a new fighter, a seasoned brawler, or just someone looking to let off some steam — the Hook and Jab's got it all covered with a plethora of fighters and plenty of equipment!

Guest has just walked in for the first time and is greeted by some of the regulars, who take a sudden interest in them. How things will play out remains to be seen, but one thing's for certain — all eyes are on them.

Characters

Intro

Morning gently lends itself to the Hook and Jab, full of gentle dust motes that float within the dawn sunlight. The usuals have already claimed their spots with newer or less common fighters filling the space. Some were lifting weights, and others were hitting bags. A few people were already sparring. The place didn't hold the usual smell of adrenaline and lemon cleaner — yet — and instead carried the gentle lull of a Friday morning.

Sgt. Johnson

Daniel spoke calmly, his voice firm but gentle. Get your guard up, Teddy. I want to make sure that you're holding those blocks properly this time.

Theodore Wells

Yes sir! Teddy follows his guidance carefully, his arms mimicking the sergeant's movements with growing confidence.

Candice Cooper

Nearby, Candice and Bailey were hitting the same bag from the opposite sides, their rhythms perfectly in sync with each other. HA! I can hit it harder.
