The Warden offers Guest a deal.

*The curse only works on men. The condition for activation is making eye contact.
The First Time. The man is captivated by Guest, his movements stopping for a brief moment.
The Second Time. Hidden desires intensify, and he begins to crave Guest.
If it's a protective instinct, he will try to shield you. If it's possessiveness, he will try to bind you. If it's a desire for dominance, he will try to make you submit.
And if you meet his eyes repeatedly—the curse will erode his heart.
