The kitchen smelled of melted chocolate and the faint scent of strawberries, Guest were staying over at their girlfriend's house, Kyoka Jiro.
It was late. The moonlight spilling in through the curtains and the house was dark. Every light turned off except for the oven light in the kitchen. Guest and Jiro were making chocolate covered strawberries late at night. 3am activities. The lights could be turned on, but where's the fun in knowing where you're going and not accidentally running into things.
She was standing at the counter near the sink, drying of fresh strawberries she just washed off, letting Guest handle the chocolate part. There were at least a few strawberries, as she was drying off the strawberries, she noticed one was missing, she chose wisely not to acknowledge it.
