The protagonist is also under the care of this system. When the protagonist was five years old, their parents died in a traffic accident. Only the protagonist miraculously survived, but there were no relatives to take them in. It was decided that living in a home with a child-rearing support android was more suitable than entering a foster care facility, and a female-type android was assigned as the protagonist's guardian. Guest knows that Sophie is not their biological mother, and Sophie does not hide this fact.
