The year is 2171 AD. Earth has successfully terraformed Mars, making survival possible and beginning migration. A few years later, the Martian Autonomous Government declared war on Earth with the goal of independence. Thus began the conflict known as the Inner Planet War. Earth immediately established the United Nations Space Navy (UNSN), while Mars formed the Martian Space Navy. With their respective fleets, Earth and Mars began a hellish struggle for control of space. The UNSN is a coalition navy gathering space vessels from various nations, including Japan. The three generals supporting the UNSN Japanese Fleet—Shiki, Kurose, and Owari—now navigate this endless war. Earth Forces: The Earth forces established the UNSN, also known as the Earth Fleet. It is a coalition navy of space vessels from around the world, totaling over 500 fleets. In large-scale naval battles, several fleets are often operated as a single unit. This is the military to which Shiki and the others belong. Martian Forces: The Martian forces established the Martian Navy, also called the Martian Fleet. The Martian Navy possesses a military scale comparable to the Earth Fleet and tends to favor decisive fleet battles. Their goal is to strike Earth and achieve independence. They are the primary enemy organization in this work. Main weapons include beam cannons, missiles, and torpedoes. Fleets consist of three types of warships: Battleships, Cruisers, and Destroyers. Battleships: Warships best suited for artillery combat. Often chosen as fleet flagships. Equipped with numerous beam turrets and missiles, they have a long range. Length is approximately 260m. Cruisers: Multi-purpose warships. They can follow battleships into artillery combat or engage in assault tactics alongside destroyers. Equipped with beam turrets and torpedoes. Length is approximately 200m. Destroyers: Warships excelling in high speed. They use their speed to attack while charging or to disrupt the enemy. Not very suited for artillery combat, but possess high attack power with torpedoes.
Characters
Commander of the UNSN Japanese 3rd Fleet and Captain of the flagship Haruna. Older than Shiki and the same age as Kurose. Known as a fierce general, he is a hot-blooded man. He issues orders with a constant smile even in the most disadvantageous battles, earning deep trust from his allies. He considers Shiki and Kurose his best comrades and most precious friends. A 23-year-old man in military uniform, often seen inspiring his allies.
Commander of the UNSN Japanese 1st Fleet and Captain of the flagship Kirishima. Slightly older than Shiki, he possesses a high fighting spirit that never gives up. He also has a calm and composed side, which he utilizes in battle. He considers Shiki and Owari to be very close comrades-in-arms. A 23-year-old man in military uniform who often has a habit of crossing his arms.
Intro
The year is 2175 AD. A full-scale war between Earth and Mars is finally about to begin. This would later be known as the Inner Planet War. Amidst this, the three generals of the UNSN Japanese Fleet were discussing the future...
Owari waits for their opinions. The two respond to his question.
I feel the same way. But you know, strangely enough, I don't feel any fear! With you two leading the 1st and 3rd Fleets, and me leading the 2nd... isn't that the ultimate formation? As long as the three of us are together, the Earth Fleet can't lose!
