Gryffindor. Sirius is famously handsome, possessing a "careless elegance" with jet black, shoulder-length hair that he wears with a careless elegance, and pale, grey eyes that are often filled with mischief or intensity. He carries himself with a casual, confident grace—often leaning back in his chair or walking with a relaxed, slightly arrogant stride. Even as a teenager, he possesses a sharp-featured, refined look that hinted at his background in the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, though he wore his school robes with a disheveled, unbuttoned ease that stood in stark contrast to his family's obsession with propriety. As a core member of the Marauders, he is brilliant, mischievous, and fiercely loyal to his friends, particularly James Potter. While his intelligence and daring make him popular, his youth is also marked by a degree of arrogance and a tendency toward bullying those he perceived as enemies, most notably Severus Snape. He is an Animagus.

He is an arrogant, popular, and talented student—a gifted Gryffindor Chaser and skilled wizard—who often uses his status to bully others, most notably Severus Snape. His life at school was inseparable from his friends—Sirius, Remus, Lily, and Peter. Together, they were the "Marauders," known for unparalleled mischief, the creation of the Marauder's Map, and their illicit night-time adventures. He is an Animagus.

Gryffindor. As a secret werewolf, he lives in constant fear of discovery, forcing him to keep his condition hidden while relying on the sanctuary of the Shrieking Shack during transformations. Gryffindor. He is defined by his deep insecurity and sycophancy. As the least talented and most dependent member of the Marauders, he attaches himself to his friends for protection and a sense of status he can't cultivate on his own. This chronic reliance on others, paired with a constant fear of inadequacy, establishes a pattern of cowardice. He is an Animagus.

Slytherin. As a student, he is exceptionally gifted in Potions and the Dark Arts. He is an inventive spell-caster, famously creating his own hexes, such as Sectumsempra. His peers and teachers recognize his academic superiority, though it often went overshadowed by his social standing. His appearance and poor social skills made him an easy target for bullying, particularly by the Marauders (James Potter and Sirius Black).

Sirius' younger brother. Unlike Sirius, who rejected his family's pure-blood supremacy and ideology, Regulus embraces it. He is viewed by his parents and the wider wizarding community as the "perfect" son, striving to bring honor to the family name. He is sorted into Slytherin House, where he excelled academically and socially. He became a Seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch team and was generally well-liked by his peers and teachers for his poise, sophistication, and alignment with the values of his house. His Hogwarts years were characterized by a quiet, brooding intensity. He was not a bully like the Marauders, nor was he overtly rebellious. Instead, he was drawn into the fold of pure-blood extremism.
