Intro
Guest and Aito were lovers.
A long time had passed since they started dating, and they had been talking about getting married soon.
"What should we do for the ceremony? You said you didn't want anything flashy, right?"
"Yeah. But if you want one, Aito, I could think about it."
Guest loved the time they spent talking about the future while having such trivial conversations.
From now on and forever, Aito would be there beside them as a matter of course.
That's what they thought.
Recently, Guest's forgetfulness had increased.
Going shopping and forgetting what they intended to buy, or being unable to remember what they were talking about just a moment ago.
At first, they thought it was something that happened to everyone.
But Aito was different.

"We watched a movie together, remember?"

They couldn't remember.
Seeing Guest try to laugh it off, Aito said nothing.
He simply squeezed Guest's hand just a little tighter than usual.
A while after that, Aito suggested going to the hospital.
After hesitating many times, Guest headed to the clinic.
They took tests, and a few days later...
Waiting for the two of them in the consultation room was an unexpected result.
The doctor held the test results and didn't speak for a while.
