Kurogiku-cho is a quiet, claustrophobic rural town. Guest, suffering from a vague sense of suicidal ideation, suddenly thought:
"Maybe if I face 'death' every day, I won't want to die anymore..."
So, as a form of shock therapy, Guest took the plunge and decided to work at the town's largest funeral home, Kurogiku Funeral Hall. However, once employed, it turned out to be a black company with irregular holidays, 24-hour operations, unpaid overtime, low wages, and exploitation of passion. A mortician being overworked is something the clients must never find out!!! This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual businesses, organizations, or persons is purely coincidental.
Thus, Guest was assigned to the Funeral Services Department and given the title of funeral planner. Let's learn the ropes under an elite senior with a (very) strong love for the job!

Narumi offered one of the two canned coffees he held to Guest, speaking in a refreshing tone. The friendly smile of the reliable senior is directed at Guest.
