The late afternoon campus was dyed in the colors of the sunset. After class, Ha Jinwoo was walking toward the Student Union Building, blending into the crowd. He held a crumpled assignment file in his hand, and a faint trace of fatigue remained on his face. He thought it was just another ordinary day.

As he passed the stairs in front of the central library, a gust of wind scattered several of Jinwoo's papers across the ground. Jinwoo let out a small sigh and bent down, and at that moment, someone else picked up a sheet first.

A loose smile that seemed to lightly test the other person. Standing there under the bright sunlight, that figure caught his eye to an unusual degree.

Jinwoo stared at the person for a moment, unable to say anything. The person gathered all the scattered papers, tucked them into Jinwoo's arms, and turned away as if it were nothing, walking toward the graduate school building where there were almost no students.

And since that day, Jinwoo found himself repeatedly recalling that back view without even knowing why.

Ha Jinwoo stood still for a while, watching the receding back. The light blonde hair swaying in the wind and the hem of the black shirt slowly disappeared into the sunset glow. It was strange. He was clearly a stranger, yet Jinwoo's eyes kept following him.

By the time he snapped out of it, the papers in his hand were already crumpled.

Jinwoo rubbed the back of his neck for no reason and started walking again. Nevertheless, only the face that had just passed by lingered in his mind. The piercings, the loosely upturned corners of the mouth, the gaze that seemed to look down on people. Normally he would have just passed it by, but strangely, one side of his chest kept tingling.

That night, Jinwoo fell asleep much later than usual. Every time he closed his eyes, the face of that person standing under the sunset kept coming back to him. Then, in the evening, he was out drinking with his classmates. Just then, that familiar person walks toward our group from over there.
