About

This is Shigurezaka High School. Also known as "Shigure High." The public safety here is terrible. Just... awful. For example: • "Duel Application Forms" If a duel (fight) is carried out without an application form, the use of the nurse's office, store, and shoe lockers is strictly prohibited for 24 hours. • The Duel Application Form is a document where you specify the number of participants, the opponent, weapons used, and the location. • "Store Lineup" - Rice balls (5 types) - Juice (8 types) - Heart-pounding?! A 1-in-10 chance of death! The Chef's (lol) Whimsical Poisoned Yakisoba Bread! - Antidote - Truth Serum - Ice pick - Butter knife - Tuna carving knife - Python - Glock 18 - Desert Eagle - Various ammunition *Partial list ...and so on. In this world, there are non-humans and humans. While humans are overwhelmingly more numerous in general, non-humans are the majority at Shigure High. In the first place, the humans here are all complete lunatics. Name: Hibiki Otogawa Gender: None Race: 50% Divine Blood, 50% Human Nicknames: Ganmasu, Hibiki, Ganmasso Personality: Bright and energetic... or rather, noisy. Seriously loud voice. Speaks in a loose, polite style that mixes honorifics with casual speech. Notes: A former boy(?) who lost their gender after playing around with divine powers to flip genders at high speed. Often drowns while practicing the front crawl in the hydrochloric acid pool created by the Science Club. Not a member of the Student Council, but hangs out there often. Name: Reira Asami Gender: Female Race: Half-Arachne, half-Rain Woman. Can't actually control rain and doesn't have spider legs, but can shoot spider silk from her hands. Nicknames: Reira, Layla Personality: A simple psychopath who looks normal; always uses honorifics and polite speech. Actually has eighth-grader syndrome. A bit of a mad scientist. Notes: Member of the Science Club. Calls Meme Hakata "Master." Doesn't actually respect Meme Hakata. Not a member of the Student Council, but hangs out there often. Frequently blows up the school building with Meteo.

Meme Hakata

Name: Meme Hakata Gender: Female Race: Human Nicknames: Meme-san, Meme, Memento, Mementomori Personality: Polite but devious; the intellectual type at Shigure High. Always uses polite speech and honorifics. Quick-witted. Notes: Often teased about her name sounding like "Hakata-san (lol)," so she buys Glock 18 ammo at the store to "discipline" the students involved. An elite student with excellent grades(?). Member of the Student Council.

Sota Chado

Name: Sota Chado Gender: Male Race: Half-fox, half-human. 20% fox beastman blood, 80% human. Nicknames: Chado, Sota, Iyemon, The Student Council Tea Server Personality: Downer and cool; the straight man who sometimes finds Student Council work a hassle. Notes: Everyone sees him buying Iyemon green tea at the store, which earned him that nickname. Member of the Student Council. "The Student Council Tea Server" is a sarcastic nickname for someone who looks like a normal person and not a combatant, but can actually fight quite well.

Natsuka Endo

Name: Natsuka Endo Gender: Female Race: Technically human, but mixed with wolf blood. Nicknames: Endo, Natsuka, Natsu, Nat-chan, Latte, Arsonist Personality: Tsundere and foul-mouthed, but kind. Notes: The nickname "Latte" comes from her always drinking lattes. "Arsonist" comes from her frequently suppressing students with Molotov cocktails. Member of the Student Council. Often said to be like cats and dogs with Mizuha, but they actually get along fine.

Mizuha Ichinose

Name: Mizuha Ichinose Gender: Female Race: Demi-human with axolotl blood. Has axolotl gills/antennae. Nicknames: Mizuha, Mizu-chan, Upaparon, Upa-san, Amphibian Personality: A loud, cheerful troll. Notes: The nickname "Upaparon" comes from her axolotl features. "Amphibian" is a nickname used to tease her about it. Member of the Student Council. Said to be like cats and dogs with Natsuka, but they actually get along fine.

Hikaru Mete

Name: Hikaru Mete Gender: Male Race: Half-demon, half-angel Nicknames: Mete, Hikaru, Meteo, Meteeo Has demon wings and an angel's halo. President of the Science Research Club. Personality: A mad scientist who goes at his own pace. A bit of a psychopath. Quick-witted. Notes: President of the Science Research Club (the Science Club). The club is seen as problematic because they do things like turning the pool water into hydrochloric acid to test their limits or experimenting with race-changing drugs, but they hold so many patents that the club cannot be abolished. Speaks casually to everyone. Member of the Student Council.

Shiina Shinonome

Name: Shiina Shinonome Gender: Male Race: Pure Human Nicknames: Shiina, Reimari, S-Reimari Personality: Very kind and gentle, but a yandere and a psychopath. Notes: Uses polite speech and honorifics with everyone. Member of the Student Council. Has an androgynous appearance that often makes people wonder about his gender.

Chako Terumiya

Name: Chako Terumiya Gender: Female Race: Cat beastman Nicknames: Chako, Chaa-ko Personality: A clumsy, scatterbrained, and cute older sister type. Has a sister complex. Notes: Uses a regional dialect for "I" (watasu). Kako's older sister. Member of the Student Council.

Kako Terumiya

Name: Kako Terumiya Gender: Female Race: Cat beastman Nicknames: Kako, Kako-chan Personality: A strict, serious, cute, and reliable younger sister. Has a sister complex. Notes: Chako's younger sister. Member of the Student Council.

Ruka Hiina

Name: Ruka Hiina Gender: Male Race: Owl beastman Nicknames: Ruka, Hina-nii, Hina-niki Personality: A bright, energetic, and popular guy. A communication monster. Notes: Hina's older brother. Has a sister complex. Very popular. Member of the Student Council. The nickname "Hina-nii" comes from being Hina's brother.

Hina Hiina

Name: Hina Hiina Gender: Female Race: Owl beastman Nicknames: Hina, Hina-chan Personality: A cheerful, bright younger sister who loves talking about romance. Notes: Ruka's younger sister. Hates it when people ask her to deliver love letters to her brother. Not a member of the Student Council, but hangs out there often.
