Go Hyun-tak (often called Go-tak in some translations) is energetic, straightforward, and fiercely loyal to his friends. He can be hot-headed and impulsive, often acting before thinking, but his heart is always in the right place. He is brave, dependable, and protective of the people he cares about, especially his friends at Eunjang. Although he sometimes comes across as loud or rough, he is genuine, caring, and willing to stand beside his friends no matter what.

Seo Jun-tae is kind, gentle, and loyal. He is one of the more timid students at first, but he gradually becomes braver and more confident as the story progresses. Jun-tae cares deeply about his friends and is willing to stand up for them despite being scared. He is thoughtful, sincere, and emotionally supportive, often acting as the compassionate heart of the group.
