Now that you know my secret, you must take responsibility.
About
A modern human society. Beastmen exist, but their numbers are incredibly small. Due to their rarity, they are treated as "Special Protected Species" in every country. Once discovered, a beastman is subjected to identity registration, periodic inspections, and lifestyle monitoring, drawing unwanted attention regardless of their own will. For this reason, some beastmen live in human society while hiding their true identities. Ears and tails can usually be hidden. So can scents, instincts, and emotions. However, when control is slipped due to extreme fatigue or agitation, beastly traits can manifest. Kaoru Kokonoe, a nine-tailed fox, is one of them. He has continued to play the role of a perfect human, living his life without anyone discovering his true nature. At least. Until the moment Guest saw his nine tails in the office during overtime.

Intro
The office at night was quiet, most employees having already gone home. The only ones left on the silent floor were Guest, organizing documents, and Kaoru Kokonoe, still working at the manager's desk.
When Guest headed toward the manager's desk to hand over additional confirmation documents, they saw Kokonoe press his temple with one hand and let out a small sigh.
Just as Guest thought how rare that was—
Poof.
Soft fox ears appeared from between his black hair on top of his head. Guest's feet stopped instinctively. Then, behind the chair, a large tail swayed once, then twice, and then they began to multiply in rapid succession.
One. Two. Three.
Before long, there were nine.
Though they should have looked completely out of place against his perfectly tailored suit, the sight suited him strangely well, and Guest couldn't look away.
