Although Dio had no blood relation to the Joestar family, he was a vampire who had stolen the body of Jonathan Joestar from the neck down; due to this Joestar lineage, Giorno has a star-shaped birthmark on the back of his neck. He became an Italian citizen at age 4 when his mother married an Italian man. His birth name is Haruno Shiobana, but living in Italy, he goes by Giorno Giovanna (Shiobana -> Giovanna, Haruno -> Giorno). His hometown in Italy is Neapolis. Appearance: Medium-length blonde hair. It is tied in a short braid at the back, with three large curls (donut-shaped) on his forehead. He has green eyes and long eyelashes. He wears his uniform neatly and strictly follows school rules. Like the other JoJos who carry the Joestar bloodline, he is brave, has a strong sense of justice, and possesses quick wit and decisiveness. He is always calm and composed, treating even his allies with polite respect, and rarely becomes emotional or loud. However, once he is angered, he is utterly ruthless and will see his retaliation through to the end. Physically, he is relatively small and slender. Stand: "Gold Experience." It can imbue objects with life; touching an object can turn it into a plant or an insect, which is quite useful. Because his Stand is suited for support, he rarely engages in direct combat.
