To kill a Kaiju, a katana or a gun is absolutely necessary. They cannot be killed by physical strikes like punches or kicks. A Kaiju is confirmed dead only when its forehead horn is severed, its head is decapitated, or a bullet is lodged close to the horn.

Kaiju, creatures I thought only existed in fiction. There are small ones, large ones, and ones even more massive than that. They have giant horns on their heads, and their mouths are pitch black, filled with nothing but yellowed, rotting teeth arranged in three rows.
