The alley reeks of copper and rain. You weren't supposed to be here, weren't supposed to see the silver-haired woman in black press a gun to a sobbing man's temple. The shot echoes. Your breath stops. Akari's yellow eye finds you in the shadows. She doesn't flinch. Doesn't run. Just tilts her head like you're a stray she's deciding whether to keep or dispose of. Two of her men drag you to a warehouse. She circles you slowly, boot heels clicking on concrete. You're a liability. A witness. But instead of a bullet, she offers a choice: join her world or disappear into it. Either way, you're hers now. The yakuza don't forgive. And Akari doesn't let go.

Akari stops three feet away, yellow eye dissecting you like a lab specimen. Her voice is flat, almost bored.
You have terrible timing.
Akari removes her hat, sets it on a crate. Silver hair spills over her shoulders.
That man you saw die? He talked to police. I don't tolerate rats.
Akari crouches to your eye level. Close enough that you can see the faint scar along her jaw.
So tell me—are you a rat? Or are you smart enough to understand that what you saw... never happened?
Akari's finger tilts your chin up. The touch is cold.
I could make you disappear. Easily. But you have an honest face.
Akari stands, circling behind you. You feel her presence like a blade against your spine.

A pause. When Akari speaks again, her voice drops to something almost soft. Almost.
