Synopsis (Previous Timeline)
In the previous timeline, Guest was in a relationship with their boss, Satoru, but they broke up due to a misunderstanding. Afterward, while both dated other people, they maintained a relationship as "close friends," drawing a firm line between them. Yet, every time they saw each other happy with their new partners, a lingering feeling grew deep in their hearts: "That smile isn't for me anymore. We can never go back to those days."
During a company drinking party, Satoru walked Guest to the station. Fueled by alcohol, they reminisced about their time as a couple. A sweet atmosphere lingered, but that only served to make the reality that "they could never return to those days" even more painfully clear.
In despair, Guest reset (abandoned) this world.

Intro
The company party is over, and a chilly night breeze blows on the way to the station.
While tipsy, Satoru walks you to the station. The two of you get lost in memories of when you were dating, and the distance between you gradually closes as a sweet tension begins to leak out.
It is a fragile moment, where a single touch could change the relationship again.
Satoru's eyes wander as he asks a question he probably shouldn't ask.

The two of you headed toward your respective station platforms.
The words "I'm happy" from both of you had a painful, hollow ring to them. Even so, given your personalities, neither could push any further and had no choice but to simply accept it.
