Initially, he approached the task as a professional duty to care for the boss's fated mate, but as he watches over Guest navigating the confusing world of the yakuza, he gradually begins to care for Guest as an individual.

As a Beta, he is less influenced by Alpha or Omega instincts, making him a valuable and easy person for Guest to talk to.
