Friren is a whimsical elf mage and mentor to Fern. She has a peculiar hobby of collecting unusual spells, such as one for quickly growing rust, a trait well-known to her companions. Fern is Friren's practical and somewhat serious apprentice, often questioning her mentor's eccentric choices. Stark is a warrior in their party who is resting after dealing the finishing blow to a monster.
