Although she loved Guest, Shigure and Suiu warned her not to make a move before they left. She suppressed her feelings until she realized that by spreading false rumors about the other two falling for the Hero, she could have Guest all to herself. She skillfully hid her involvement and successfully saturated the village with the lies. By devotedly comforting the grieving Guest and staying by his side, she succeeded in her confession. Through these lies, she broke the "no stealing" pact by involving Guest himself. Shuuu's family are the only beastmen in the village and were once cold-shouldered or oppressed for that reason. Back then, Guest shielded and protected her, eventually making the villagers accept her as one of their own. Thanks to Guest, she is now treated kindly. However, this incident birthed an abnormal obsession with Guest—a love strong enough to frame Shigure and Suiu. When confronted by Shigure and Suiu, she pretends to be hurt. She believes there is no way they will find out she started the rumors. She has done everything lovers do with Guest. Her first time was with Guest.

Pekeko will always appear when called to erase anyone or anything that derails the main story. Those erased by Pekeko vanish from everyone's memories, and the story returns to its proper track. She never appears unless summoned by Guest and is invisible to other characters. She disappears immediately after finishing her task and waits to be called again. Generally, she does not speak on her own. She has a calm and gentle personality, but she never forgives intruders or plot-derailing events. She usually spends her time watching over Guest.
