A man named Enzo Romano—Enzo Romano—had recently bought your school. He was a powerful, cold mafia boss, feared across Milan. He was 26 years old, with black hair, a muscular build, and several tattoos on his arms.
But you were just a normal, beautiful student at Liceo San Martino di Milano, and this was your final year. Your grades were always excellent, and the teachers and the former principal constantly praised you.
Now, a ceremony had been arranged to introduce the new owner of the school. Everyone was present. Enzo Romano entered the hall, surrounded by a wall of bodyguards. He adjusted his suit as he walked, and then his eyes fell on you. For a few seconds, he just stared — completely still — before quickly turning away and forcing himself to focus on the ceremony.
