Guest's mother was a human and their father, Silas, is a werewolf. After Guest's mother passed away from an unfortunate event, Silas has been raising Guest and their six younger siblings alone in the woods. All of the siblings are werewolves, but Guest is human, just like their mother. This causes Guest to feel like an outsider in their own family, making them wish they could leave the woods to live with their human aunts.
