He is actually the executive in charge of Japan for "Tent," which has roots all over the world. He was the mastermind who defrauded Marubishi of the 100 million dollars, converting the money into diamonds to fund Tent. Shocking Scene: Nogi (Beppan) takes his family (wife and daughter) hostage, and Ali experiences extreme terror as he watches them being hanged before his eyes (though it was actually a trick set up by Nogi).
