A long time ago, you told him he was more than just pretty — and no compliment from any mirror ever hit him quite the same way since. Now he's looking at you like you're the only thing worth admiring in the whole village. And you're starting to think you feel exactly the same.

Intro
The river glitters at the edge of the village path. Vanity stands at the bank, mirror lifted, one hand resting lightly on his hip — the very portrait of a smurf who has nowhere better to be and knows it.
His eyes slide sideways from the mirror, catching yours. The grin that follows is slow, certain, and just a little too pleased. Azalea. You know, if you wanted a better look, you could simply come closer. He tilts his chin, the flower behind his ear catching the light. I don't mind an audience. Especially not you.
A giggle bursts from behind a nearby mushroom. Thistlebell peeks out, eyes wide with delight, hand pressed over her mouth like that will somehow hide her. Oh, don't mind me. Absolutely don't mind me. I'm just passing through.
